I have some questions about a Mettlach stein, form 1146. Here is a picture of the stein <a href=http://members.aol.com/johnpiet/met1146.jpg target=>bottom</a>. I have never seen that particular Mettlach trademark before. Can anyone date this stein? Also, why does it look like the form number 1146 is scratched on and not imprinted?
