~ B'hüt di Gott, mei Buah ~

The Bayrisch (Bavarian dialect) captions under the three scenes are self explanatory on this PUG (printed under glaze) stein marked with the logo of Utzschneider of Saareguemine, ca. 1900.

B'hüt di Gott, mei Buah!
ruft ihm d'Sennrinn zua.

Hier ist Waidmanns ruh',
und Liebe winkt dazu.

Wenn de Büchse knallt,
gewiß de Gamsbock fallt.
May God protect you my boy!
called out the Alpine maiden.

Here is the Hunter's peace,
and love winked at him.

Whenever the rifleman shot,
it's certain that a buck was felled.
