~ D' Hauptsach is', dass uns schmekt ~

I think this captures the meaning that "If it tastes good - drink it!" in this Bayerisch (Bavarian dialect) verse on a Jugendstil (youth style = modern art) stein designed by Franz Ringer, ca. early 1900's. The use of "Wurscht" (sausage) in the sense used here, it is an analogy and means anything good or satisfying.

D' Hauptsach is', dass uns schmekt -
s'ander is Wurscht -
dr'um freu i' mi' jederzeit über -
mein Durst!
The main thing is that it tastes good -
another is sausage (satisfying) -
therefor I'm always happy about -
my thirst!
