~ Die sieben Schwaben ~
Here are two steins from a series on the humorous fairy tale of the Seven Swabians produced by Käserei Champignon of Heising - Allgäu dated 1985 and 1988, respectively. There are many versions of this fable by the Brothers Grimm in the early 1800's. The seven all have different personalities and names similar to the "Seven Dwarfs" of the Snow White story. The tale ends with the Seven Swabians killing a monster that turns out to be a rabbit.
