~ Du bist schon a Jaga ~
This verse is written in Bayrisch (Bavarian dialect) on a PUG (printed under glaze) stein by Villeroy & Boch, but unmarked except for the mold number 1526 and date 1894. Note the use of the word "schon" (already) which is used for accent and where the New York City dwellers with German-speaking ancestry get the phrase "all right already!".
Du bist schon a Jaga,
a recht a verdrahta,
gehst nau's mit der Bix,
aber Hoam bring'n thust nix.
You are a hunter already,
but a real fraud,
you go out with your gun,
but you don't bring anything home.
