~ Im Tag vier halbe Liter ~
The German Adam Riese (1492 - 1559) and the Greek Pythagoras (570 - 495 BCE) were philosophers and mathematicians. They could calculate that if one drank 4 half liters of beer a day, that would equal 7 barrels in a year. The stein is unmarked, but has a bell on the lid to signal for a refill when the stein is empty, ca. 1900.
