~ So lang uns diese Rose blüht ~

The verse on this stein with a transfer print could be paraphrased as "So long as we can appreciate our youth, our money will be used to buy beer and not wasted." The stein is ca. 1900.

So lang uns diese Rose blüht,
soll uns kein Geld verschimmeln.
As long as these roses bloom for us,
shall none of our money get moldy.
