This stein represents Kaiser Wm II's ambition to have Germany become the dominant
power on the seas. The scenes show Kaiser Wm II in naval regalia with the naval
Kriegspanier (war banner) and his own ensign flown whenever he was on board.
The ship is his private yacht, the SMY Hohenzollern II. This stein is relatively
rare and would have been given to a visitor on the yacht or perhaps one of the officers.
