This pottery stein dates to the 4th quarter of the 19th Century and has a scene with Saint Notburga of Tyrol. She is depicted as a peasant girl with bare feet holding the flag of Tyrol and the shield with the arms of the Holy Roman Empire draped with a flower wreath. The Province of Tyrol was divided at the end of WWI (1919) as a war reparation, the North Tyrol and East Tyrol went to Austria and the South Tyrol and Trentino went to Italy. | |
