| This is a nice blown glass stein with a copy of an oil painting by Eduard Grützner, ca. last quarter of the 19th Century. The framed (probably copper press) version below was probably done about 1900 and the original probably in the last quarter of the 19th Century, but before the stein was made. The scene shows a monk with a card hand that he's having a tough time deciding how to make the next play. | |
