~ Münchner Oktoberfest Steins ~

Everyone likes a party - and bringing home souvenirs is a great reminder of the good times spent. The Oktoberfest steins are no exception. Every year, an artist is chosen to come up with a design for the Oktoberfest theme. After that, promotional signage, banners, advertising, trinkets and steins are adorned with the chosen artwork. This year, the design is Oktoberfest 2000, shown with graphical excerpts of artwork from the 1997 and 1998 Oktoberfest steins: Ludwig and Therese, the king and queen of the biggest beer party ever!

While these steins can usually be purchased through vendors, the most enjoyable aspect of collecting these steins is filling them - and then emptying them - in a tent at Munich's unique Oktoberfest.
