Lids and thumblifts in inventory: I have a wide variety of new and old lids in a range of sizes, including domed, turret, regimental, character and specialty. Selection of a lid requires matching not only the size but also the style and shape for consistency with the stein. The same principles apply when replacing a thumblift, as it must harmonize with the style, size and shape of the body. I will help you select a lid or thumblift for your stein which is most suitable. I can fabricate new pewter parts, including thumblifts, finials and footrings. All my work is chemically patinated to make it look original.
