Blue and off white stien

    I was hoping some one could help me I have this stein with indentation s reading the Walt and Germany on underneath and by handle on body itself 1258 has pewter lid with what looks like an acorn or something like a bud it’s in mainly blue I was looking to see if anyone can value it thank you can send pics

    Posting photos is definitely a big help in providing answers to your questions. I think you are misreading the name. It is probably a product of Albert Jacob Thewalt. Mold 1258 is not listed in The Beer Stein Library. It is listed in MySteinCollection.com, see https://www.mysteincollection.com/view?art_ID=7219. The background color is grey rather than off-white. Can you confirm if this stein is your stein? We would have to see photos to see if the stein was produced in the 1900s or reproduced in the late 20th Century. The former is more valuable than the latter. The thumblift could be a hop used in beer production.
