Can You Identify This Mark?

The mark shown in the linked photo is impressed into the base of one of my steins. I’ve searched Stein Marks and done a lot of Googling but have been unable to identify it. Can anyone identify it?

By turning to the left it might be VI. Are there any other numbers or marks?

Thanks Bill. It has the impressed marking “506” on the body of the stein below the handle and the capacity mark “0.5L” impressed on one side near the top. I’ve not been able to find the stein in the Beer Stein Library, in the SCI old manufacturers’ catalogs, or any of the many on-line resources I’ve searched. I do know (or at least think I know) what the scene represents, however, based on prior knowledge. Maybe I’ll post a picture of it to see if anyone recognizes it and knows who the manufacturer was.
