E-bay #180548616092. I have seen a number of enameled glass steins with a red-orange seal as part of the design. Does anyone know the significance of the seal? Or anything about the steins i.e. maker, date of manufacture, place. etc.
    Thanks for your help.

That seal-like design is part of many enameled designs. I have seen it mostly on glass, but also on stoneware. It is meant to resemble an old wax seal so the designs within the seal can vary.

The seller had the wrong photos with the listing. It has now been corrected. I am not sure of the German verse translation as it is probably some dialect. There are no words on the seal, just a design of a four-leaf clover.
