We have come across this stein that has the original Gerz markings on the bottom with a number “1”. It is a hand painted piece And we are trying to find a collector that might want it. I am glad to provide pictures upon request. We would be curious to know the potential value as well. Thanks to this community in advance.

    Larry,
The only thing we can tell you without a photo is thet Original Gerz just means it is a modern version of an old mold.

Gerz 1862 Stein with 97%ZINN lid has words: “Oktober – Feste 1835” and image of horses pulling carriages of people at festival. Marking on the bottom says GERZ 1862 and a small sticker “made in Western Germany”.

thanks, I can’t see how to upload an image.
