Haydon OsborneHi! I recently inherited these steins from my aunt, and unfortunately I know very little about steins in general but was hoping you guys might be able to help with identifying or giving me any info about them! I have 8 total, each in the link below. I really appreciate your help, thanks so much!

RonHaydon,
All your steins are relief earthenware. Some can be seen in The Beer Stein Library (link can be found under Reading section).
1. Made by Simon P. Giles, bought by Matthias Girmscheid in 1920. They did a lot of steins with English verse. The scene is from a Franz Defregger painting, “To your health,” probably the most used painting found on steins.
2. This was made by J P Thewalt, mold 1088, but the lid is damaged.
3. Unknown.
4. J W Remy, mold 875.
5. Probably Matthias Girmscheid.
6. Matthias Girmscheid, mold 1065.
7. Post-WWII Gerz stein, mold 3723.
8. Unknown, no lid, minimal value. -
Haydon OsborneWow thanks Ron! That’s really helpful, will do some research on these!

Haydon OsborneHey Ron! I was just wondering, do you consider any of these to be of significant value? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

RonHaydon,
The second one is a 3 L stein and would bring the most, but it does have the damaged lid. Around $50 or so. The rest would be $25 at most. Shipping is around $12 and more for the 3L stein. Finding a buyer is your biggest problem.
