Identfy Maker

TSACO has a character stein of a Black Majolica Student mold 1005. I cannot find the maker of this stein. Anyone have info on this stein? Thanks Richard

Richard,

It was made by Gebrüder Horn. J. Neumark of Berlin sold it. They are listed in SteinMarks. Also there should be an article on Gebrüder Horn in Prosit. I will see if I can find it.

  Thanks. The tsaco auction listed it as a student stein but the info I have list it differently. I thought that it was changed. The info was in stein character ref book page 90. Thanks for your input. Richard

  The Character Stein Book had it wrong, it is not the end man in a Minstrel Show. I thought Ron Fox had an article on the firm, but I couldn’t find it. There were a couple of articles on ads for the firm’s steins in the March 2015 and June 2016 Prosits. He is a Cameroon Student.
