identifying a stein

    Hello. I would like help identifying this stein. It belonged to my grandfather. I will take any info I can get.
    It’s 3 L and has the words “FRISCH AUF FROHLICHENJAGEN” around the base. It has the Gerz W Germany stamp on the bottom, and a pewter lid.

    Gail,

    The two files you posted are on your computer and we can’t access them. The top section of Stein Talk tells you how to post photos. All I can tell you is that your stein is considered modern, Post-WWII (1949-1990). It was made by Simon Peter Gerz and holds three liters of beer.
