Is this a real German stein

    Started collecting steins. Found this one on eBay , question is if this is real German one. Look at the Wester German engraving on the handle. Also the handle has finger grooves. Thanks for any insight.

    Nirlay,

    It looks like Albert Jacob Thewalt mold 1070 made pOST-WWII. You can view it in the Thewalt catalog in The Beer Stein Library.
