Hello, I am looking to purchase the JW Remy “Surprised Knight” mold number 958 (the 0.25L version) and mold number 954 (the 0.5L version). I have the “Bürgerbräu Mellrichstadt” version of the 0.5L one so I just need the regular version. Please feel free to contact me at hgrussjr@comcast.net. Thank you.

Harold Platt Jr.Dear Mr. Gruss,
I am a member of the Pittsburgh Stein Society Chapter of S.C.I. I do own the J.W. Remy versions of the “Surprised Knight” steins. 0.5L (#954) & 0.25L (#958). Unfortunately, for you, they’re not for sale. My reason for contacting you is that you mention a “Burgerbrau Mellrichstadt” version of these steins. I am totally unfamiliar with this version. do you have any further information about this? I would really like to know.
Also, I am in search of the J.W. Remy 1.50L version of the Surprised Knight stein. It seems that it’s availability is extremely rare! I’ve only seen it once in an auction catalog and I was greatly outbid on the piece. My Bad!!! Do you know of anyone willing to sell one?
Incidentally, the Remy #958 is for sale on eBay (under J.W. Remy Steins). Although it has a replacement lid – all pewter conical type – the stein seems to be mint otherwise.
Thanks for your time.Prosit!
