I cannot make out any mold number or maker’s mark on the bottom except a “2.” Also just marked Germany, but it seems much older than 1989. This half litre stein has beautiful crazing and patina on the pewter lid.
I have only a small collection (about 100 steins, and I cannot find it in any of my reference materials.
I would very much like to identify maker.

I didn’t see any hint that this stein was made in 1989, it’s much older than that, probably pre-1900. The theme is bowling (Kegeling), the verses are typical of bowling steins.
