I have a stein which was handed down from my grandparents in the 1960s. I don’t know when or where they came into possession of it, but I’m interested in knowing about its origins and value and would greatly appreciate any information or insights from experts.
I don’t see any markings on it, but it has a music box in the base, and a pewter lid that is brighter and shinier on the inside than the outside. It depicts two women watching a dancing couple, and a paper scroll that says “In lust’ger Mitt, all Sorgen quitt” which I think roughly translates to “Be happy, don’t worry”.
