I have two steins that came back from Germany with my uncle in 1945. I know little about them and need to know enough to sell them. This is the first one, and I hope the photos come through. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42156008/Hunt%20Club%20Stein/HC%202.jpghttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42156008/Hunt%20Club%20Stein/HC%204.jpg

This looks like a 1L Marzi and Remy body to me. The “shooting” theme is popular amongst collectors. In a marketplace like ebay, it might sell between $100 to $200 dollars. This of course would assume that the stein is in good condition.

The Beer Stein Library shows this as Marzi & Remy mold 15014, 0,5 L or 1,0 L. The German phrase is “Sich’res Aug’ und fest die Hand, braucht der Schütze in dem Stand.” (A sure eye and a steady hand,
are needed by the marksman in the shooting range.) It is listed as under $100 in mint condition for either size. This is the price it would generally go for in a stein auction catalog. Steins on eBay generally go for less. This is a gauge antique stein collectors will be using to place a bid on eBay. Only if it is desired by several bidders will it go for a higher price.
