JeannetteSamples of our masks were tested by engineers & rated better than some commercial brand medical use surgical masks. Northeastern University: “As the person who has been donning all the masks, I really appreciated the comfort & adjustability of the ear loops. The finding that the nylon layer didn’t improve the particle removal percentage means that the mask fits well as designed, & the breathing air is passing through the mask rather than around it.”
Washable! Fitted style and nose guard will help keep glasses from fogging up. 1 layer is the cotton/polyester print. 1 layer sewn in Pellon 50 interfacing, 1 layer solid cotton/polyester (colors will vary). I use thick stretch knit for ear loops. I can use elastic, but after a few hours of wear, they can start to hurt your ear. They also hold gathering better on the sides to adjust for fit. It can be creased, knot the earloops on top and bottom to hold gathering if desired for a snug fit. Adjust the earloops with a knot. I offer these masks in xsmall for age 2-6, small 7-12, medium for teenage & women, large for men. As stated on The Masks Now Coalition, it is not recommended not to use fusible interfacing. “MIDDLE LAYER OPTIONS Light or midweight non-woven sew-in interfacing. An example of this would be Pellon 30 or 40. DO NOT USE FUSIBLE INTERFACING.”
This fabric may not be able to be reordered, so supplies are limited.
