Hi Jaynie – Both steins were made by made by Matthias Girmscheid. The Beer Stein Library estimates the value of the stein marked 287 as $90-$125, and the value of the stein marked “1046” as $75-$100. However, the values shown in the Beer Stein Library have tended to be higher than actual current sale prices, so you may or may not actually be able to achieve those prices.

Here are the last 4. If you could help with the value of these as well. I found one that says 1964, ut in gold pen, they wrote my parents name on the front. So i am guessing that wouldnt be worth anything? They got it when in Germany

Hi Jaynie – Your best bet to sell them would probably be eBay. There was no link posted for any more of your steins.

Hi Jaynie – Your stein was made by Dümler & Breiden. has a capacvity of 1.5 liters, and is titled “Warrior with Coats of Arms”. From your photos, it appears to be in excellent condition. You can find it in the Beer Stein Library at this link: https://www.beerstein.net/item.asp?ItemNum=dab-0052. The Beer Stein Library puts a value on it of $125-$175, but these prices have not been kept up to date and steins generally sell these days for less than the values shown in The Beer Stein Library

Hi Jaynie – Commenting only on the last two steins since the others were covered previously: Your Avon stein is of modern manufacture. It doesn’t appear to be anything special, but you never know. For information you might try the Avon Collectors Club, https://findavon.com/, search eBay or just do your own Google searching on Avon steins. Your Josef Obermaier stein is also of modern manufacture. You can find some on eBay at present with asking prices anywhere from $10 to $50. Yours is good looking and might well fetch an eBay buyer if the price was right.
