Good morning! I have acquired an object that has been in my family for many years that I am trying to identify. It is made of wood, highly carved and painted with wooden straps like a stein might have and has a lid that opens as a stein does. Inside it there is a circular piece of wood with holes drilled in it and the bottom of the object also has holes drilled in it. So, holding drink would be problematic to say the least! Can anyone tell me anything about this object? I will try to post photos. Thank you!
