Founded in 2010, our mission is to promote, encourage and preserve the study, history and collection of beer steins, other drinking vessels and associated products and support stein collectors in the southeast United States. We currently have members from Georgia, North and South Carolina.

We typically meet three times a year where we address outstanding business issues, provide an opportunity for members to buy and sell steins, and participate in Show and Tell/Ask. The meetings also feature a guest speaker who delivers a presentation of interest to members. Past presentations have included “Oktoberfest Jahreskruege”, “Patriotic Steins”, “Hauber & Reuther”, “J.L. Knoedgen” and other topics. Generally, members join for lunch and fellowship.

Although membership is open only to those who are members in good standing of Stein Collectors International, we encourage non SCI members to attend as guests to see what The Dixie Steiners has to offer. Currently, the annual membership is $15.00 per family. We encourage anyone who has an interest in stein collecting to visit the Stein Collectors International web site at www.stein-collectors.org and to attend one of The Dixie Steiners meetings.
