~ Der ist ein ächter deutscher Mann ~

I guess the Germans could do it all from this verse on a Jugendstil (youth style = modern art) stein designed by Carl Moos, ca. early 1900's. This is a Turnverein (Gymnastics Association) or 4Fstein. Their motto "Gut Heil" (Good Health) and their symbol of back to back "F"s can be seen on the side panels. For more information, see translations "Gut Heil" and "Deutsches Turnfest".

Der ist ein ächter deutscher Mann
der schneidig turnen und trinken kann.
It is a genuine German man
that can do spirited gymnastics and drinking.
