The verse has a religious tone on this Creussen Apostle Stein enameled on relief figures of Jesus and the twelve apostles, ca. late 1600's. After church on Sundays a family might come home, gather around and sip beer from this stein while pondering the message of the service.
Drink mich aus und schenck mich ein, das du erfrischt das Herze dein.	Drink out of me and pour into me, so that you can refresh your heart.
