~ Grüß Gott ~ | |
Grüß Gott! is literally "Greet God!" and is used to say "Hi" or "Greetings" in Bavaria and Southern Germany. This Jugendstil (youth style = modern art) stein was designed by Munich artist, Cajetan Dreisser, marked under the figure "Dreyser" probably made by Merkelbach & Wick, ca. early 1900's. For more info see: Chris Wheeler's "Stein Marks". | |
