This is a 1/2 L. PUG (printed under glaze) Mettlach stein mold #1909 and decor #726. As with many Mettlach PUG steins, this one does not have either the impressed castle mark or the stamped Mercury mark, but does have the impressed "94" for made in 1894. The scene is of whimsical walking steins wishing each other a "good fill up" with beer.
Gut einshenken! Voll Maas hat Gott Lieb.	Good pouring! (of beer into the stein) A full (1L) stein has God's love.
