As a local chapter of Stein Collectors International, die Lustigen Steinjäger (The Jolly Stein Hunters) has been in existence since 1975. Over the years, the club has hosted three international conventions and two mini conventions. The club participates in the culture tent at German Fest in Milwaukee each year. We have about 50 members from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota. We are a diverse group of collectors who not only collect beer steins, but also items related to beer steins. We hold meetings at least quarterly. The meetings are held in restaurants or brewpubs or at members’ homes. We have speakers at the meetings and reserve time for show-and-tell and buying and selling steins. Come join us!
